The Handy was developed by E-Leven in 2037 and now comes in a variety of forms from various aftermarket manufacturers. It is used for everything from identity verification, to payments, to vehicle unlocking. It is most useful when combined with the E-HUD to do things like interact with AR games, take selfies, or even more with attachments such as tasers, holographic screens, E-Nails, etc.
The cheapest forms of the Handy have a thick copper wire housing that sits flush with the surface of the skin. This wire housing contains the cables which connect the large metal outer base station installed in the shoulder down to the hand.
Midrange forms of the Handy have 1-3 underskin wires connecting the base station to the hand and come in a variety of colours or unique patterns and some even have liquidlike effects that travel across their surface.
The most expensive forms of the Handy have a wireless chip that can communicate from the shoulder to the hand. They are completely customizable to the users specifications and design requirements. In a rare limited edition variant created for the United Government, the circuit board is revealed by a transparent cover.
